For information, the 2023 U-17 World Cup will bring together 24 competitors and will be played from November 10 to December 2, 2023 in four stadiums, namely Manahan, JIS, Bung Tomo and Si Jalak Harupat. Later, the 24 teams will be divided into six groups, from Group A to Group F, with each group containing four teams.
The two teams that finish the group stage in the top two positions will automatically qualify for the round of 16. They have the opportunity to continue advancing as far as possible after exiting the group stage.
Apart from this, there is a quota for four teams occupying the best third place. They can also qualify for the round of 16. Later, a separate ranking will be created for the third place finishers in the group stage. Whoever has the best points record, the best goal difference and/or the best fair play has the right to qualify for the round of 16.
