Profile of 4 stadiums for the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia

TIMEINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The 2023 U-17 World Cup will be one of the most anticipated youth football events in the world. For this edition, FIFA has designated Indonesia to host this quadrennial tournament.

Indonesia and FIFA have agreed on four major stadiums to host the tournament which will start from November 10 to December 2, 2023.

The four stadiums are Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya; Jakarta International Stadium in Jakarta, Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung and Mahanan Stadium in Solo.

The Indonesian national team, which is part of Group A with Morocco, Panama and Ecuador, will have its home base at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.

Meanwhile, Group B, occupied by Mali, Uzbekistan, Canada and Spain, will face each other at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.

For Group C which includes New Caledonia, England, Iran and England played all preliminary matches at the Jakarta International Stadium.

Meanwhile, Group D played a match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung. This group is populated by Japan, Poland, Senegal and Argentina.

Capacity: 27,000 spectators
