Undergraduate scholarship in Canada, study for free and get spending money

KOMPAS.com – There are fully funded undergraduate scholarships or full college scholarships in Canada that you can try.

This scholarship is opened by the University of Toronto. On this campus, a number of scholarships are offered. One of them is the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship under the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program.

This scholarship provides the opportunity for students who excel academically and demonstrate extraordinary creativity to apply.

In addition to getting a full scholarship, students also receive coverage for tuition fees, book allowance, unexpected costs, and full housing assistance for four years in Toronto, Canada.

Scholarships are awarded starting in the first year of undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. Here are the full requirements.

Requirements for Undergraduate Scholarships in Canada

1. International students (i.e. non-Canadians who require a study permit)

2. Currently in the final year of secondary school (SMA/equivalent) or have graduated no later than June 2023

3. Begin studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024 (students already undertaking post-secondary studies cannot be considered;

students who started their studies in January 2024 at other post-secondary institutions will not be considered)

How to register

1. Have an application form from the original school. If the school does not yet have an application form or is not registered as a candidate for this scholarship, you can submit an application to participate in this program through the scholarship online registration page.

If SMA or SMK participated the previous year and are registered, they will have access to nominations from the beginning of September.

2. Apply online to study at the University of Toronto (link is external) to begin your studies in September 2024 and complete the admission application by the appropriate deadline (link is external). Please note that students will be considered for Pearson Scholarships for top-choice programs. Check the conditions on the scholarships page under U of T.

3. If the student has received a nomination and is able to apply to the university, you can complete the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application online via the private link to the scholarship application when you have been successfully nominated by the school.

Canadian Undergraduate Scholarships Registration Schedule

Application deadline for schools: November 30, 2023
Application deadline for OUAC students: December 15, 2023 (Please note that this is the last date to apply to OUAC, although you can apply until December 15, 2023, it is recommended to apply via the OUAC as soon as possible (recommended date to apply is before November 7, 2023)
Student scholarship application deadline: January 15, 2024
The results of the scholarship selection will be submitted at the end of April 2024.
