Awaluddin said the SPKLU installation was a requirement for public spaces to serve the growing number and volume of electric vehicles. “In Soekarno Hatta Airportthe current electric mode of transport continues to grow and the SPKLU installation is part of the construction of the concept green airport and green energy“, said Awaluddin.
For this, he said, as the operator of Soekarno-Hatta airport, PT Angkasa Pura II will continue to add SPKLU points in the airport area. “In the future, it will be expanded as the public transport fleet has also changed to electric vehicles.”
The use of electric vehicles at Soekarno-Hatta Airport has so far included electric taxis, electric buses, electric bicycles used by airport staff, and then golf car/boogie car for transporting passengers in the terminal, segway, to Skytrain as a mode of rail transport. This transport allows the movement of passengers to and from terminals 1, 2 and 3 as well as the airport station.
