TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Minister of Investment and Head of Investment Coordination Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia has confirmed the Draft Government Regulations (RPP) regarding business licensing and ease of doing business in IKN has been finalized and has even been signed.

Bahlil said the regulation was an initiative of the Ministry of Investment. Even though there was a long debate, he said, the formulation of the rules could finally be completed. He considered the rules to be win-win solution for commercial actors, government and IKN development.

However, Bahlil did not reveal when the RPP will be released. The publication of these regulations will be managed by the Secretary of State of the Ministry. “Wait later,” Bahlil said.

Previously, the government through the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) announced that the construction of the National Capital or IKN Nusantara will be carried out by the government on a massive basis from 2023. The government then prepared regulations related to ease of doing. business and investment licenses.
