DENPASAR – President China Xi Jinping openly reprimanded the Prime Minister (PM) Canada Justin Trudeau for disclosing the content of their meeting to the media. Canadian journalists captured the events on video during the G20 summit in Bali on Wednesday.

Barely a minute a conversation opened up with Xi Jinping, speaking through a translator, telling Trudeau, “Everything we discussed was leaked in the newspapers.”

“It’s inappropriate. And that’s not how the conversation is conducted,” Jinping added. “If there is any sincerity on your part…” Jinping said.

“In Canada, we believe in free, open and frank dialogue, and that’s what we will continue to do,” Trudeau replied, speaking through an interpreter who was still trying to finish Jinping’s words. .

“We will continue to work together constructively but there will be things we will not agree on,” added the Canadian leader.
