Held next month, here is the preparation for the G20 summit in Bali

Summit (Summit) G20 will take place in Bali next month. The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said that currently the preparations for the event are almost complete.

He said the Sherpa meeting some time ago discussed economy, health and finance.

“Several countries are still pushing for related issues to be included in the discussion and further explored,” he said in a press release, Monday (3/10/2022).

Airlangga said President Joko Widodo will directly review the state of preparation for the event in Bali.

“In terms of preparation, the president will be going to Bali to check the details of the preparations,” he said.

For your information, the G20 is a multilateral cooperation forum made up of 19 major countries and the European Union (EU).

The G20 represents more than 60% of the world’s population, 75% of world trade and 80% of world GDP. G20 members are South Africa, United States, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, Turkey and the European Union.
