Student medersa back to achieving accomplishments that make school, family and country proud. This time he was signed up by Hilman Agung Saputra of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Malang City.

Hilman has been successfully accepted into top universities in Canada and Singapore. In Canada, Hilman was accepted to the University of British Columbia, Vancouver (UBC) in a Bachelor of Science program. UBC is ranked 37th in the Times Higher Education.

Meanwhile in Singapore, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) opened the door to Hilman. He was accepted into the Environmental Earth Systems Science program. NTU is ranked second for Asia and 46 for the world.

Quoted on the Department of Religion website, Hilman is an outstanding student. In 2021, Hilman has the opportunity to participate in a Supplementary Study Abroad Scholarship program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

This program is titled Advanced Indonesia Scholarship (BIM) which is specifically for outstanding students in the national talent event organized by Puspresnas Kemdikbud. alumni medersa is grateful to be able to succeed and to make the program a springboard.

“In this program, Alhamdulillah, I managed to pass and continue the stages by enrolling in the desired campuses, and finally I was declared accepted in the Canadian and Singaporean campuses. The selection process is very competitive”, Hilman said.

Although he achieved a myriad of accomplishments, Hilman did not forget to serve his school. Hilman has been active in the intensive coaching program organized by MAN 2 Malang City. He is also known as a very diligent student and is able to study independently to improve his abilities.

Hilman’s success also drew gratitude from MAN 2 Malang City chief Mohammad Husnan. This rare opportunity should certainly not be wasted.

“Alhamdulillah, every year MAN 2 Malang City graduates have the opportunity to study at a number of foreign universities,” Husnan said.
