In an obvious nod to his wife and late mother, Diana, whose footage is seen in the trailer, Harry added: “The pain and suffering of women who are married into this institution, this madness. In trailers premiered last week, Harry and Meghan shared intimate photos that have never been shown to the public. Some show the Duchess of Sussex appearing to be in tears, with a scene showing Harry with his head tilted back as his wife appears to wipe away the tears with both hands.
“Why did you want to do this documentary?” they ask in the first trailer for the documentary, followed by a series of photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in public and private moments. “No one sees what goes on behind closed doors,” Harry says in his narration.
“I have to do everything I can to protect my family,” he added.
Meghan is then shown saying, “When the stakes are so high, wouldn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
