Helmet is mandatory. You can choose to use an open helmet (regular trail helmet) or a full-face helmet.
Gloves are mandatory. Fingers need to be covered.
Back protection is mandatory. You can choose a backpack with a water reservoir (like a Camelbak) or a back plate.
Knee protection is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
Fédération Québécoise des Sports Cyclistes (FQSC) License
This license is your race insurance. It’s mandatory for every racer. A FQSC commissioner will be present on Sunday morning when you pick up your racing plate and timing chip to help you fill the documentation for it. License cost is 20$. Racers who already own an annual FQSC license, either for downhill or cross-country racing don’t need to pay the 20$, but they need their card.
Water and food stations
2 water and food stations will be available on course. We still ask you to be autonomous in case of technical problems with the stations.
Timing Chip and Plate
You need to pick up your timing chip and race plate need on Sunday morning before the race. We will explain in the riders meeting how to use the timing chip.
