Russia demands parts for its Canadian ship attack drone

The Defense Ministry said one of the drones may have been launched from one of the civilian vessels chartered by Kyiv or the West for the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.

Russia accuses Kyiv of planning the attack on Sevastopol with the help of British military experts. Britain has denied the charges.

Last month, the main bridge connecting Crimea with mainland Russia was partially damaged in an explosion Russia blamed on Ukraine. Kyiv has denied its role in the attack which prompted Russian retaliation.

Since then, Russia has carried out massive air and drone strikes across Ukrainedamaging more than a third of its electrical infrastructure.
