Badung, CNBC Indonesia – Chinese President Xi Jinping along with G20 heads of state and delegations attended a gala dinner at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park (GWK), South Kuta, Bali on Tuesday (15/11/2022).
It can be seen that a number of leaders of G20 countries wore typical Indonesian batik clothes. President Xi Jinping wears a dark blue batik accented with yellow flowers. Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister (PM), Justin Trudeau was also seen wearing a hot pink batik.

Additionally, the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida and the First Lady compactly wore Tosca blue batik. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wore a long purple batik. South Korea’s President Yoon Suk Yeol was seen wearing a blue batik shirt.

Besides being presented with typical Indonesian dishes, the G20 leaders were also entertained with cultural performances featuring a series of compiled traditional dances and songs. Next, a digital theatrical performance projected onto the limestone walls of GWK is also presented. The theater contains an invitation to work together to become stronger.

Apart from artistic performances, the gala dinner also featured musicians Andmesh Kamaleng and RDP Hip Hop Generation. In their performance which managed to catch the attention of G20 officials and guests, they sang the song Malam Indah which was popularized by Iwa K.

Besides leaders of G20 member countries and delegations, Jokowi’s cabinet ministers and former Indonesian presidents and vice presidents, such as Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Jusuf Kalla, Megawati Soekarnoputri and Try Sutrisno were also present.
