The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has published a list city most livable in the world 2022. The list that comes out every year is now dominated by these two continents.
EIU, an umbrella organization with international media outlet The Economist, ranks 173 cities around the world according to various factors. The factors to be taken into account are access to health, the crime rate, political stability, infrastructure and access to green spaces.
So which continent dominates the world’s most livable cities?
Europe dominates the list of livable cities
Overall, Europe dominates the list of livable cities in the world. There are 6 cities in Europe in the best list.
With Switzerland as the only country with two cities on the list, namely Zurich in position 3 and Geneva in position 6. The country which is known for its signature cheese and chocolate is also famous for its balanced lifestyle between professional life and private life.
According to US News, stores in Switzerland will be closed on Sunday and people are also disciplined with working hours of 40 to 42 hours a week.
Canada is strictly in competition with Switzerland. Canada is represented by three city namely Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto. Canada is also renowned for its access to education and qualified health care.
