Pig living in several regions of Indonesia, the African swine fever (ASF) virus or African swine fever has been detected. Currently, the swine flu virus has been detected on the islands of Batam, Singkawang and several other areas.

Apart from these problems, it is known that Indonesia itself is not among the meat-producing countries in the world because the majority of its population does not consume this type of meat. So, which countries produce a lot of pork?

This amount represents almost half of the total global pork production, estimated at 114.35 million tonnes.
