1. Choi Woo Shik

Best known for his role in the movie Parasite, Choi Woo Shik rose to worldwide popularity after starring in zombie thriller Train to Busan and action-adventure film Okja. However, despite his fame as a Korean actor, the 32-year-old revealed that his parents were initially opposed to him becoming an entertainer.
His father worked as an engineer in Canada, so Choi Woo Shik is preparing to follow in his father’s footsteps. However, Choi Woo Shik has other plans for himself. After entering Simon Fraser University, one of the best universities in Canada, he decided to return to Korea to pursue a career in acting.
Although initially opposed, Choi Woo Shik was allowed to return to South Korea and remained despite failing the auditions. Interestingly, he has his first acting project in 2022 for the films Living in Style and The Duo.
