In general, if you want to cross the ocean, the ship is the only usable vehicle. However, over time, developed countries built underwater highways so that all forms of land vehicles could cross the sea.
7 countries that have underwater highways
1.Canada
Canada is one of the countries that has toll roads below sea level. The George Massey Tunnel is the only road tunnel below sea level in the country.
Additionally, the George Massey Tunnel was also recorded as the first tunnel in British Columbia to use submerged tube technology. Built in 1957, this road tunnel is only 0.6 km long.
2. United States of America
Next comes the United States. This developed country led by President Joe Biden also has an underwater highway. The Ted Williams Tunnel is an underwater highway in the city of Boston.
