Shin Tae Yong called up seven downline players to attend training camp (TC) Indonesian National U-20 Team in Jakarta and South Korea.

On Friday (2/17), PSSI released a list of 29 players called up to participate in the Indonesian U-20 national team TC in Jakarta and South Korea.

In the list, STY called up seven original players to participate in the Indonesian U-20 national team TC ahead of the 2023 U-20 World Cup.

Six of the seven offspring players have been called up to participate in the Indonesian U-20 national team TC, namely Hugo Samir, Brandon Scheunemann, Ronaldo Joybera Kwateh, Rafael Struick, Ivar Jenner and Justin Hubner.

Hugo Samir is an Indonesian-Brazilian player who plays as a striker. Brandon Scheunemann is an Indonesian-German player and plays a defender.

Rafael Struick is an Indonesian-Dutch player who plays as a striker. Ivar Jenner is an Indonesian-Dutch player who plays as a midfielder.

Meanwhile, Justin Hubner is an Indonesian-Dutch born player who plays as a defender. It’s just that the last three names are still dealing with the naturalization process to become Indonesian citizens.

Meanwhile, another downline player is a player who was just called up by STY in the Indonesian U-20 National Team TC this time, namely Victor Dethan.

The player with full name Victor Jonson Benjamin Dethan is a PSM Makassar player.

Victor was born in Kupang on July 11, 2004. This 18-year-old winger has a Canadian mother and a father from Kupang.

Victor Dethan’s presence should add options to the Indonesian U-20 national team’s forward line.
