Eliminated from IEM Rio 2023, FaZe Clan CS:GO Star reveals why

Esports News: FaZe Clan CS:GO Rifler Team Twistzz Says He Has Symptoms Burnout after his team was prematurely eliminated by Vitality at IEM Rio 2023 yesterday, Wednesday (19/4).

The Canadian esports athlete and his teammates started playing in Rio last Monday (4/17), just two days after qualifying for May’s BLAST Paris Major.

However, after the loss to Vitality at IEM Rio 2023, the man with his real name Russel van Dulken said that fatigue was his team’s main defeating factor.

“A tough loss and poor individual performances, but I’m not ashamed to say I’m tired,” Twistzz said on his Twitter account.

“Finally we rested, the last few weeks have been stressful and everyone deals with it in a different way. There were too many days where we didn’t get enough sleep, there was no appetite. Now the feeling of winning will be better after rest.”

Twistzz made an unusual appearance in the match against Vitalitty. He was one of the best fraggers for FaZe Clan, but he failed to make a positive impact against Zywoo and co.

The 23-year-old finished the series with a record of 22-5 for KD, 44.5 for ADR, and only with a 0.62 mark according to HLTV. By comparison, he has a 1.13 rating so far this year, so that’s a below average performance for him.
