Jakarta – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has revealed various activities of the National Police to build community unity and integrity. One of them is that the national police and the community carried out revitalization activities for 77 cultural and religious sites.
General Sigit said the series of activities of the national police aimed at building unity and being directly felt by the community started with humanitarian activities. This activity is a form of tolerance, friendliness and concern for others.

“Our hope is that this interaction can increase empathy, work better, especially for people in need,” Sigit said in his remarks during the 77th Bhayangkara Day at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Saturday (1/ 7/2023).

Sigit spoke about the implementation of the revitalization of 77 cultural and religious sites in the country which was initiated by the Human Resources Staff (SSDM) of the National Police. This activity was conducted as a form of gratitude to the Indonesian National Police and the community for maintaining the diversity that belongs to the Indonesian people.

“The National Police, in collaboration with the community, is also revitalizing 77 cultural and religious sites as a gesture of gratitude, remembrance and maintenance of the diversity we have,” he said.

“Of course, this series of activities is also accompanied by common prayers through inter-religious prayers, we enjoy the gratitude for all the blessings and gifts given to the Indonesian people,” he added.

The interreligious prayer also prays at the same time for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the government, TNI-Polri and the community so that they always enjoy health, protection and prosperity in the face of different types of challenges that the nation will face in the future.
