F1 News: Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso was amazed by his speed during the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday (23/7) yesterday. Alonso couldn’t look competitive, so he could only finish 9th overall.
When racing at the Hungaroring circuit, Fernando Alonso initially set high expectations to be able to host the top-level competition. Unfortunately, the speed of the car cannot be compromised at all. Alonso was truly overwhelmed serving rival after rival so he could only finish ninth. When asked what the problem was, Alonso himself wasn’t sure.

Alonso’s performance in the last three races has indeed declined quite drastically. At the start of the season, Alonso was very competitive and diligent on the podium. He even made it onto the podium four times, finishing third in the Bahrain GP, Saudi Arabia GP, Australian GP and Miami GP. But in the past three series, Alonso has struggled to even make the top three. He began to wonder about the speed of his car, which was decreasing and not as fast as before.
