The U-17 World Cup will be held in four cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya and Solo. For Solo, the match will be played at Manahan Stadium.
The stadium with a capacity of 20,000 spectators will host Group B matches. This group is made up of Spain, Canada, Mali and Uzbekistan.
To celebrate this event, a U-17 World Cup trophy experience or parade will take place during Car Free Day in Solo City on Sunday, November 5. This event will bring together a number of Indonesian football legends, the Persis Solo youth team and children involved in sports in the Grand Solo, as well as representatives from FIFA.
“The target of the mascot is around 500 people. The concept will be to roll a big ball accompanied by football athletes. The trophy will be at the main venue,” said Rini Kusumandari, head of the Solo department of the youth and sports.
