West Java International Airport (BIJB) Executive General Director Nuril Huda Mahmudan explained that the state plane arrived at Kertajati Airport on Tuesday (9/5), at 2:12 p.m. WIB, after dropped off Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
“This Tuesday, there was a plane that landed and was parked at Kertajati airport, namely the plane of the Canadian Prime Minister. He just arrived at 2:12 p.m. WIB,” said Nuril in Majalengka, West Java, Tuesday.
Nuril said that according to the initial plan, the Airbus 3-10 would be parked at Kertajati Airport until September 7, 2023, and then pick up the departing Canadian Prime Minister to return to his home country on the same date at 06:50 WIB.

“They returned to Jakarta to pick up Prime Minister Kertajati around 06:50 WIB on the morning of September 7. Because they may have ended up there, they immediately flew to Canada,” Nuril said.
He continued that to date there have been no additional RON state aircraft at Kertajati Airport, but his party is still reconfirming to ensure this.
Taking into account the information he received, it is expected that five planes will spend the night at Kertajati airport, but it is likely that other RON state planes at Soetta airport or in other other alternative airports.

“Other possibilities are waiting in Jakarta or other airports. Usually the slots are still available. Then they don’t take too much time for their activities. So maybe they won’t complete the event,” he also said.
As shown in the live broadcast of the arrival of the heads of state, monitored from the Media Center of the 43rd ASEAN Summit at the Jakarta JCC, the plane carrying Trudeau landed at around 11:41 WIB.
Trudeau then left the plane gate at around 11:55 a.m. WIB accompanied by his eldest son Xavier Trudeau.
