F1 News: Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas managed to set the fastest time during the first free practice session (FP1) of the Canadian F1 GP on Friday (16/6), local time. Bottas managed to take advantage of a session whose duration was shortened due to the video surveillance outage.

During the session which took place on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Valtteri Bottas managed to surprise everyone by being the fastest. Bottas was able to do this because he took advantage of the CCTV outage incident at the circuit. This disrupted the power supply in the pit lane, causing the session to be stopped prematurely.
