Vice President: Indonesia is almost 100% ready to host the G20

Nusa Dua (ANTARA) – Vice President Ma’ruf Amin has said that Indonesia is almost 100% ready to host the G20 summit.


“I think, as the coordination minister (Luhut) said earlier, that there is indeed a coordination meeting to be prepared (KTT 20), this preparation is almost 100%,” Ma said. ‘ruf Amin at the public electric vehicle charging station Apurva Kempinski. (SPKLU), Nusa Dua, Bali, Tuesday.

The Vice President briefed the G20 Summit Coordination Meeting at the Apurva Kempinski Bali Ballroom, Lot 4, Nusa Dua. During the meeting, the Vice President requested that the agenda and services of the G20 summit be perfect and give the best impression.

“I heard that the last G20 was far from perfect, not good and we shouldn’t repeat that. Don’t make the agenda we have prepared and the services we provide seem lacking; because this agenda brings the common good, increases together, is difficult together to meet various challenges and meet challenges,” Ma’ruf said.

He also reminded that services, accommodation and other things can be carefully prepared, as the G20 summit will bring together various heads of state and heads of international institutions.

“So there must be a good impression of us from Indonesia. From what I heard from Mr. Luhut, we are ready. This place is amazing, not just a place for good service,” he added.

Plate, National Police Chief Gen. Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster.

The 17th G20 Summit will be held in Bali on November 15-16, 2022. The summit will be the culmination of an intensive process and effort throughout the G20 workflow (ministerial-level meetings, working groups and Mobilization groups) for one year as President of Indonesia.

The theme raised by Indonesia during the G20 presidency in 2022 is Recover together, recover stronger. Through this theme, the Government wants to invite the whole world to work hand in hand, to support each other in order to recover together, and become stronger and more sustainable.

The top three priority issues raised at the meeting were global health architecture, sustainable energy transition, and digital and economic transformation.

The G20 is a forum for multilateral cooperation made up of 19 major countries and the European Union. The G20 represents more than 60% of the world’s population, 75% of world trade and 80% of world gross domestic product (GDP).

G20 members are South Africa, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China and Turkey. and the European Union.
