The defending champion defeated Canada with a score of 2-0 in a match held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, USA, Friday (6/21) morning WIB.

This result maintains Team Tango’s chances of continuing to qualify for the next round. They even kept the trophy won during the previous edition. Meanwhile, Canada must be at the bottom of Group A which is also populated by Peru and Chile.
During this match, Argentinian coach Lionel Scaloni immediately fielded his best players. As a result, Argentina was able to dominate the match.
