EXCLUSIVE: Opening entertainment has optioned the rights to author Andrew Pyper’s recently published bestselling novel William, with Justin Dyck (Coffin Girls, anything for Jackson) is configured to direct.
Written under the sci-fi/thriller pseudonym Pyper Mason’s Coil, William available on store shelves September 3 via Putnam.
The author and Chris Sivertson will adapt the novel into a thriller filmed in Canada.

Canadian director Dyck is in pre-production coffin girl starring Gabrielle Union with financing from QC Entertainment. Dyck is also improving Welcome to the neighborhood on Amazon with Platinum Dunes production.
Sivertson wrote Your imagestarring Sasha Pieterse, based on the bestselling novel by Adele Parks. He has also written and directed genre films, including Giant with Christine Ricci; All the cheerleaders diewhich premiered at TIFF Midnight Madness; and its adaptation of Jack Ketchum Missing.
