The commander of the Indonesian national armed forces, General Andika Perkasa, said the TNI had also prepared reserve troops apart from the officers who provided security in the field. This is done to ensure that security continues to operate when unwanted dynamics occur.

“If there are dynamics beyond what we have prepared, they must be deployed,” he said.

This year, the G20 summit will be held for the 17th time. The culmination of the event will take place in Nusa Dua, November 15-16. The G20 or Group of Twenty is a major forum for international economic cooperation with members of the world’s largest economies, made up of 19 countries and one institution of the European Union. G20 members are South Africa, United States, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, Turkey and the European Union.
