TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) sat at the same table during the G20 summit dinner in Bali. Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) DPP Chairman Puan Maharani said the roundtables were family-friendly.
“Coincidentally, I was at the same table, they arrived at the same time. So the conversation is more related to family matters, long without seeing, what are you doing, are you healthy,” Puan said at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Also, Puan mentioned Megawati’s encounter with SBY also discussed the title of the G20 summit. He explained that the two former presidents hoped the G20 summit would go smoothly and produce something good for the nation.
Megawati’s daughter considered the assembly to be refreshing. He pointed out that during this round table, there was no discussion of political issues.
“There are no politics related topics on the big table, I don’t know if they talk about politics individually. Because I don’t hear anything about politics, I talk about Indonesia,” said Puan said.
