Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) for Canada tell someone’s body IR students named Grace Karundeng who die recently underwent an autopsy.
Grace is thought to have died in her apartment in Toronto, about 500 kilometers from the capital Ottawa, on January 7. However, the cause of his death is unknown.
“The hospital that performed the autopsy is Humber River Hospital. The autopsy results will be officially released to the family within one day from the hospital. And then the bodies will be buried. at the funeral home before being brought to Indonesia,” Indonesian Ambassador to Canada Daniel Simanjuntak said in a statement to CNNIndonesia.comTuesday (11/1).
Daniel said the Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa and the Indonesian Consulate in Toronto received information from the public about Grace’s death on Jan. 8.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Toronto, Daniel said, immediately contacted Grace’s parents in Indonesia.
Earlier, virtual media were shocked by the news of the deaths of two Indonesian students in the United States.
The two students were named Timothy Dien and Grace Karundeng. Timothy is currently studying at Campion Academy in Loveland, Colorado, USA, while Grace is studying at Humber College, Toronto, Canada.
So far, there has been no news from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles whether Timothy’s body will also be autopsied.
“There has been treatment from related parties in the local country and also from the family.
