Bisnis.comSOLO- Morocco came as a surprise as he managed to come out on top in Group F of the preliminary round on Thursday (1/12/2022).

The Atlas lion managed to move Croatia’s position to the top of the standings. Morocco also got the top 16 ticket with the acquisition of 7 points.

Group winners Morocco celebrated their victory by waving the Moroccan flag and Palestine.

After the game, a player brought a Palestinian flag and hoisted it with several staff members.

The hoisting of the Palestinian flag was done by Hakim Zayech cs as a form of solidarity with other Muslim majority countries.

Morocco also once again successfully penetrated the Canadian goal. Unfortunately, the goal had to be disallowed by the referee.

In the 71st minute, Canada nearly equalized but missed when hit by the crossbar and bounced in front of goal.

Two Morocco goals were disallowed in the first and second rounds. Until the whistle, the goal remained at 2-1.

In the round of 16, Morocco, winners of group F, will face the second in group E on Tuesday (6/12/2022). Meanwhile, Croatia will face the Group E champions against the Group F runners-up on Monday (5/12/2022).
