The “Stranger Things” star Noah Schnapp admitted that he was homosexual. The 18-year-old actor revealed his sexual orientation via TikTok on Thursday (5/1/2023).

“When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after 18 years of being scared to hide and they all said ‘we already knew that,'” Noah wrote in the caption of the 8-second TikTok video.

Noah’s confession also sparked various reactions from netizens. Some said they were shocked, some said they saw the signs.

Noah Schnapp plays one of the main characters of the Netflix series “Stranger Things”, namely Will Byers. A while back, this New York, USA-born actor also revealed that the character he portrays is also gay.

“He (Will) is gay and he likes Mike (Will’s friend character played by Finn Wolfhard,” Noah said during an interview with Variety Magazine in July 2022.

Noah Schnapp once auditioned for the role of Mike Wheeler in 2016’s “Stranger Things.” But instead, he got the role of Will, and the role of Mike went to Finn Wolfhard.

This Canadian teenager is known to be very close to the other actors of “Stranger Things”, in particular Millie Bobby Brown. The two even promised to get married.

Noah Schnapp has a twin sister, a daughter named Chloe. Noah and Chloe were born on October 3, 2004. The two are just four minutes apart at birth, and Noah is older.
