KOMPAS.com – Belgium striker, Michy Batshuayi, emerged as a hero in the Belgium v Canada match on the 2022 World Cup stage.
The duel between Belgium and Canada in the preliminary round of Group F of the 2022 World Cup took place at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium on Thursday (24/11/2022) in the early morning of the WIB.
Bathsuayi’s goal was enough to lead Belgium to the top of the 2022 World Cup Group F standings for some time.
Canada was actually able to excel first thanks to a white-point opportunity that was executed by Alphonso Davies in the 10th minute.
However, Davies, who has no experience in running penalties, failed to perform his duties. Thibaut Courtois’ shot was easy to guess.

After missing a penalty, Canada repeatedly bombarded the opposing defense each time they received the ball.

Canada continued to beat Belgium in the crucial minutes of the game. But their efforts often fail on the last pass.
