Apparently Stroll had difficulty walking while taking part in a race in Bahrain

F1 News: Lance Stroll has revealed he suffered further injuries following a cycling accident. The incident that cast doubt on his participation in the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix this weekend.

The Canadian rider missed three days of pre-season testing ahead of F1 2023 due to a wrist injury he suffered during a cycling shunt. Lance Stroll appears to be struggling on the Aston Martin with his wrist, gripping his cockpit steering wheel in an unusual way.

His condition appeared to improve overnight as Stroll qualified eighth for Sunday’s race. Speaking after qualifying in Bahrain, Stroll spoke about his accident and the extent of his injury, explaining that he also broke his toe.

“It’s so crazy. Exactly two weeks today since my accident, my bicycle accident, twelve days since the operation, was discharged from the hospital a week ago. I couldn’t move my arms, I couldn’t walk, broke my toe,” Stroll told Sky “

Bahrain seemed very far away then and the light at the end of the tunnel was very far away then. Really grateful to be here and back in the car.”

Meanwhile, Stroll also admitted that Saturday was the first day he could walk without pain.

“Saturday was actually the first day I felt my toe was good enough to walk on, but it didn’t hurt me in the car unless I hit a few bumps, but that’s okay” , he added.
