Take note, this is a list of political parties participating in the 2024 election and their serial numbers

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The General Election Commission (KPU) stipulates 17 political parties national and 6 local political parties in Aceh became participants election 2024. This decision was set forth in the KPU (SK) decree number 518 of 2022.

Here is a list of political parties designated as participants election according to serial number:

1. National Awakening Party (PKB),
2. Great Indonesian Movement Party (Gerindra),
3. Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP),
4. Working Group (Golkar),
5. National Democratic Party (NasDem),
6. Labor Party,
7. Indonesian People’s Wave Party (Gelora),
8. Prosperous Justice Party (PKS),
9. National Awakening Party (PKN),
10. People’s Consciousness Party (Hanura),
11. Indonesian Change Movement Party (Garuda),
12. National Mandate Party (PAN),
13. Crescent Star Party (UN),
14. Democratic Party,
15. Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI),
16. Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo), and
17. United Development Party (PPP).

Meanwhile, the 6 local parties of Aceh, namely:

18. Atjeh Beusaboh Generation Day
19. Thaat and Taqwa (Gabthat)
20. Darul Aceh Party (PDA)
21. Aceh Party (AP)
22. Prosperous Justice Party (PAS) Aceh
23. Aceh People’s Independent Solidarity Party (Sira)

Previously, as stated in the Perppu issue 1 of 2022 regarding the elections, the determination of the serial number of the parties participating in the 2024 election was carried out through two mechanisms.

First, for the nine parties in parliament, they are allowed to use the old serial numbers like in the 2019 elections or vote in a lottery to select new numbers that are still available. Second, for non-parliamentary parties, they are required to participate in a lottery.

KPUs previously announced the 17 parties that would contest the 2024 election after being declared eligible to pass the factual verification stage in order for them to be eligible to contest the 2024 election.
