JAKARTA | KBA– Support for Anies Baswedan to become President of Indonesia in 2024 will be unstoppable. Apart from Indonesia, there are now 14 countries where Indonesian Citizens (WNI) have declared to be volunteers for Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 term.

“So Pak Anies gave him to us, then his team contacted me, they asked me to manage (volunteers abroad),” he said again.
Volunteers in the 14 countries, he continued, included Canada, United States (US), Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore , Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Oman and Qatar.
Reasons to support Anies Baswedan
Agus Yunanto said that there are several reasons why these Indonesian citizens supported Anies Baswedan to become president of Indonesia in 2024. One of them is that Fery Farhati’s husband is considered to have succeeded in developing DKI Jakarta.
“When we talk about politics, it turns out that now they support Anies. And they said they saw the success of Pak Anies from afar when he was governor of DKI Jakarta,” he explained.
According to him, the support is pure. Moreover, these Indonesian citizens have no other interest than the progress of Indonesia.
“If they are objective, they have no interest. Just seeing that in our country now the conditions are like this, then a governor of DKI Jakarta named Anies Rasyid Baswedan made a lot of breakthroughs, changes, with three slogan him, ideas, stories and works,” he said.
He said Indonesian citizens have seen that Anies Baswedan has provided evidence of his performance as a leader. “So Pak Anies provided evidence, not promises. And it exists,” he said.
Among them, Indonesian citizens are the proudest, he said, namely Anies Baswedan who builds sidewalks for pedestrians.
Where, these sidewalks are really needed by the community, like those built overseas. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Anies Baswedan only paid serious attention to the head of DKI Jakarta.
