International break begins, 20 Bayern Munich players are called up to the national team

German League News: The international break for the period of March 2023 will begin soon, where the national teams of each country have started to prepare their teams to face the nearest match. During this international break, a total of 20 Bayern Munich players have been called up to defend their respective countries.

Of these, most Bayern Munich players have been called up to defend the German national team. At least four Bavarian players from Die have been called up by coach Hans Flick, namely Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala. However, it’s a shame that Musiala is withdrawing from the Germany squad during this international break as he picked up a hamstring injury while defending Bayern against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has also been called up to defend the Cameroon national team. However, like Musiala, he will also retire from the squad due to injury.
