Bisnis.com, SOLO – Tournament Swiss Open Seven Indonesian representatives will participate in 2024 in the round of 16 today, Thursday (23/3/2023).
Swiss Open 2023 will enter the Round of 16 at St. Jakobshalle, Basel on Thursday (23/3/2023).
The tournament with prize money of US$210,000 has always been attended by seven Indonesian athletes in the four contested events. Indonesia is not represented in the men’s singles.
The first match for the Indonesian representatives will be played by Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi who will face Rena Miyauda/Ayako Sakuramoto from Japan.
Meanwhile, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti challenged Thailand’s Supissara Paewsampran/Puttita Supajirakul.
Moving on to the women’s singles number, Indonesian player Putri Kusuma Wardani took on the fourth seed, Pusarla V Shindu (India).
Her compatriot, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, met Canadian representative, Michelle Li, in the round of 16 at the 2023 Swiss Open.
The only men’s doubles representatives, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri will challenge Chinese Taipei’s doubles, Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan.
Finally, in the mixed doubles sector, Indonesia still has two representatives, namely Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari and Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.
