Three months later, Aiden’s father appeared in court and said his son had been kidnapped and tortured.
“They (the kidnappers) held him for about three days, he was taken across Ontario, beating and torturing him. He was only allowed to make special phone calls to certain people. I wasn’t one of the people he was allowed to call,” Aiden’s father said, as quoted by the DailyMail.
At the family’s only phone call, the kidnappers demanded a ransom of US$3 million. Aiden was successfully released by the kidnappers on the condition that he pay the client in cryptocurrency in the near future.
Aiden is known to have almost deceived 140 people who invested their money in Aiden’s crypto company. Aiden has long been known as the king of crypto who owns 11 private cars, four luxury rental cars and rents a lakeside mansion in Berlington, Ontario, Canada.
