Canada – The sighting of a phallic or penis-shaped iceberg off the coast of Canada has caught the public’s attention. The photo was taken by a photographer from Newfoundland, Canada.
city of detikInet, photo taken by Ken Pretty, the photographer’s name immediately went viral. Not only garnering various comments on her Facebook account, media from various countries commented on Pretty’s photos.
“I know for sure there will be a lot of people commenting. But I didn’t expect there to be so many,” Pretty said, as quoted by Live Science.
Unfortunately, the 9.1 meter high structure photographed by Pretty on Thursday (4/27) collapsed the following day.
According to local media, the non-permanent penis-shaped structure is part of a mountain formed during iceberg season in Newfoundland and Labrador. There are more than 200 icebergs off the coasts of both provinces.
“Land breezes bring icebergs and icebergs,” said Diane Davis, who runs a Facebook group on iceberg hunters.
“If this trend continues, we should also see a similar view in May and June,” he added.
