UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR – The Ahwal Syakhshiyah Study Program Students’ Association (Himaprodi), Faculty of Islamic Religion, Unismuh Makassar, organized a talk show with the theme “Women’s Reproduction from a Health and Islamic Perspective” as well as the book launch “Seventeen Years of Undergraduate Studies”.

This activity took place at Subulussalam Al Khoory Unismuh Makassar Mosque on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Lisdayanti, head of the Muslim Affairs Division of the Ahwal Syakhshiyah Studies Program, said the activity was attended by 89 participants.

These are students of Al-Birr Girls’ Boarding School, students of Ahwal Syakhshiyah and Tahfidz Muamalah Al-Qudsiyah Entrepreneurial School, a tahfidz owned by Ustadzah Nurkhalisah S. Sos.

Lisdayanti explained that the aim of this activity was to better understand reproductive issues, especially for Ahwal Syakhshiyah students who have studied menstrual jurisprudence issues but do not yet understand the health aspects.

Lisdayanti hopes that in the future there will be even greater events related to health problems, not only in the reproductive organs but also in other organs of the body, aligned with Islamic science.

“Unismuh is always committed to supporting and being able to participate in future activities,” he said.

In the talk show, Ustadzah Nurkhalisah S. Sos was the first speaker to present information about “NIM 17 Years of Strata One”.

Nurkhalisah is an alumna of Al-Birr and also the wife of KPI Curriculum Manager, Ustadz Aliman, Lc., M. Fil. I. Ustadzah Nurkhalisah has traveled a long way in pursuit of knowledge but remains enthusiastic in the learning process.

Apart from this, he also runs various businesses including establishing the Tahfidz Muamalah Al-Qudsiyah School of Entrepreneurship as part of his charitable efforts. He is also a writer and motivator who is often a guest on talk shows.

Then, Dr. Ratih Paradini, general practitioner, missionary activist and writer, reminded the participants that the body is a God-given deposit and we must take care of it.

On this occasion, Dr. Ratih mentioned the reproductive system as a minor but important problem for humans.

Dr. Ratih said that reproductive issues are closely related to Islamic jurisprudence and other Islamic laws. We must therefore study it in order to understand its essence and avoid misunderstandings that often arise in society.

Ratih added that learning about the reproductive system without an understanding of Islam can cause “fiktor” (dirty thoughts) to emerge in a person.
