Anthem Sports & Entertainment has signed an agreement to acquire Canadian independent broadcaster Hollywood Suite.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal brings together Hollywood Suite’s four linear networks and their accompanying on-demand services into a group that includes Game TV, Game+, Fight Network and AXS TV. Anthem also operates cable movie channel HDNet Movies and owns film distribution company Gravitas Ventures.

Hollywood Suite launched in 2011 and bills itself as “Canada’s largest pure-play movie service,” serving over 10 million homes through providers such as Rogers, Bell and Prime Video. Networks include HS70, HS80, HS90 and HS00, each featuring movies from their respective eras. The following series are also available: sword, ship accident And Blumhouse Encyclopedia of HorrorAnd, somewhat surprisingly, Mr. Bates v. Post Office.

If the deal goes through, David Caines, president and co-founder of Hollywood Suite, will continue to lead the company. The deal still needs approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
