Jakarta – The name of State Enterprise Minister Erick Thohir has emerged as a suitable candidate to lead the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) in the future. This is based on respondents’ responses in a survey published by the Indonesian Institute of Policy Indicators Survey regarding the PSSI reform after the Kanjuruhan tragedy.
The survey was conducted from October 30 to November 5, 2022 by interviewing 1,220 respondents face to face. The sampling method used multi-stage random sampling.
The sample is drawn from all provinces and is proportionally distributed, assuming a simple random sampling method, the margin of error (MoE) of the survey is approximately 2.9% at a confidence level of 95 %. Meanwhile, the population of this survey is all Indonesian citizens aged 17 or older, or already married at the time of this survey.
Respondents were asked a question that read, “Which of the following names do you think is the most suitable to be the General President of PSSI?” “.
Based on a survey of Indonesian political indicators, up to 24.1% of respondents chose Erick Thohir as a person who deserves to be president of PSSI. Next come Najwa Shihab 10.4% and Kaesang Pangarep 5.8%.
Meanwhile, the name of outgoing PSSI President Mochamad Iriawan was fourth at 5.4%. Here are the details:
