During his visit, BP2MI paid a courtesy call with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) to Canada, Daniel Tumpal Simanjuntak. As head of the delegation, the Principal Secretary of BP2MI said that BP2MI is committed to collaborating with the provincial government of New Brunswick, Canada.

According to Rinardi, BP2MI also wants to expand cooperation by placing Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) in other sectors with the Canadian government, which has never been explored before. BP2MI is therefore not limited to a partial cooperation space.

This activity continued with a lunch hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa while discussing obstacles and employment opportunities for Indonesian migrant workers in Canada.
