British Columbia is in the midst of its latest heat wave, which has seen temperatures reach into the 30s and above in eastern and southern parts of the province.
Environment Canada has placed much of British Columbia, stretching from Prince George and Tumbler Ridge north through Quesnel and Williams Lake to the Kamloops, Okanagan and Kootenay regions, under a heat warning until early next week.

The warning comes after high temperatures hit the Cranbrook, Kelowna, Nakusp, Port Hardy and Vernon areas on Friday, with the temperature in Kelowna reaching 38.6 degrees.
Lytton was the hottest place in Canada all day Saturday, with temperatures reaching 41 degrees at noon.
