BANGKAPOS.COM – BTS Latest Newsrappers Canada Drake becomes the mascot of BTS ARMYs. His memes are often used by fandoms.
On October 19, Drake shared a series of photos on his Instagram page.
Much of this stems from Savage 21’s appearance at Morehouse College and his return to Spelman College, where Drake made a surprise appearance.
One photo in particular went viral because it was a selfie of Drake wearing an all-blue suit, including his curls pulled by a Nike headband, smiling at the camera.
XXL Magazine’s Twitter repost has gone viral with 32.9K and 4K snippets tweeted at the time of writing.
The internet roasted him for the selfie, and he even made his way to K-Pop Twitter.
It is the perfect basis for new borahe editions.
The blue should be purple…
And, of course, we know that purple has been the official color of BTS fandom ever since V created Borahae (“I purple you”).
Every time Drake posts something, it’s boraheffication-related.
There’s a trend on Twitter where memes and celebrities are being “boraheified”, adding lots of purple and iconic BTS imagery.
The borahae one-button account (@BorahaeifyBot on Twitter) is dedicated to making these changes and even accepting requests.
You are guaranteed to see a lot of Drake if you browse their account.
With Drake’s latest viral photo, ARMYs now remembers all the iconic borahe edits that have been made, thanks to him.
In fact, many are often repurposed as memes to represent fandoms.
The two below are memes to use as reactions to the BTS special event.
And let’s not forget the edit that was made where it looks like Drake is singing “Dynamite.” Iconic.
That’s not the only relationship between BTS and Drake, of course.
The group is known for its fans. They had met him, and J-Hope had even appeared in the “In My Feelings” music video.
“Professional communicator. General music practitioner. Passionate organizer. Evil twitter fan.”
