Bisnis.comSOLO – The first match of Group B between Spain and Canada at the 2023 U-17 World Cup took place this evening, Friday (10/11) at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.
Spain, the top team, is expected to beat Canada in the preliminary round of Group B.
Sure enough, from the start of the first minute of the first half, Spain managed to make Canada nervous as they almost scored a goal.
Unfortunately, the kick in front of goal was stopped by Canada.
In the 4th minute, Spain had two opportunities to take corners which unfortunately failed to score.
The attacks continued in front of Canada, where from the 6th minute, Yanez tried his luck. But unfortunately, his shot went too far towards the goal.
In the 16th minute, Spain again failed to score after Pau Cubarsi’s header missed the Canadian goal.
Spain finally managed to score a goal in the 21st minute thanks to a pass from Pablo Lopez well used by Marc Guiu.
Then in the 25th minute, Guiu tried to score again, unfortunately he couldn’t score.
Canada also tried to take revenge in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, his first attack was able to bring the ball closer to the goal.
