Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Canadian actor Saint Von Colucci has died aged 22 after being treated for some time in a hospital in South Korea. Saint Von Colucci, the name of the Canadian artist, died on Sunday morning April 23, 2023, after suffering from several complications due to plastic surgery he underwent several months ago.
To quote Daily Mail, Tuesday (25/4/2023), his agent, Eric Blake, said that Colucci had undergone surgery to remove the implant from his chin which was installed in November 2022. The young artist, he said said, had a bacterial infection of the implant he had installed. Due to these complications, he was intubated and died a few hours later.
“Very tragic and very unlucky,” said Blake, who has worked with the young actor since March 2022.
He said Colucci had undergone 12 plastic surgery procedures in the past year, including chin surgery, implants, facelift, rhinoplasty, eye lift, eyebrow lift, lip reduction and a number of other minor surgeries. He even spent US$220,000 on the procedure he underwent so he could play Jimin BTS for the broadcast flow in America.
He admits his client understands how risky chin implant surgery is to reshape the original chin. Even so, he was still determined to do it.
“He was very uncomfortable with his appearance,” he said. “He had a very square jawline and chin and he didn’t like the shape because he thought it was too wide, so he wanted a V-shape, the shape of most Asians’ chins.”
