Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Canada’s women’s doubles badminton player, Catherine Choi has a culinary tour eating crackers and meatballs before competing in Indonesia Masters 2023.
This was known from Choi’s upload to his Instagram Storyers account on Monday (1/23). With his partner Josephine Wu, Choi enjoyed the moment of eating meatballs at Bakso Rusuk Joss store, Kemayoran, Jakarta.
Choi uploaded a photo of crackers to his Instastories. Additionally, the 21-year-old badminton player showed off the moment a colleague cut the giant meatballs ordered from the meatball shop.
Choi also seems to enjoy eating meatballs ahead of competing at the 2023 Indonesia Masters. This event will take place from January 24-29.
“Thank you boss for the experience,” Choi wrote, tagging the Joss Ribs Bakso account.
Choi and Wu aren’t the only ones choosing to enjoy culinary delights in Jakarta. Badminton player from the Netherlands, Robin Tabeling even admits to being addicted to satay.
Malaysian athlete Lai Pei Jing said his arrival in Indonesia must come with the consumption of a typical Indonesian bakery product.
Meanwhile, two Danish players, Hans Kristian Vittinghus and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, showed off fried rice on their social media accounts.
Not only showing fried rice, Vittinghus and Rasmussen also showed their participation in a badminton wrapped social program in an area in Bekasi. Former Indonesian badminton player Debby Susanto was also seen with Vittinghus and Rasmussen at the event.
