“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II served her entire life and assumed the burden of her duties with consummate grace,” said Justin Trudeau.

“Sophie and I were in London for the funeral of Her Royal Highness – and today we marked the solemn occasion by signing a book of condolences,” he continued.

Previously, King Charles III welcomed the leaders of the member countries of the British Commonwealth to Buckingham Palace on Saturday (17/9) local time.

Around 2,200 guests are expected at the funeral of Britain’s first monarch to be held in six decades.
