Beritasenator.com. The Canadian superstar’s rendition of Edith Piaf’s L’Hymne à l’Amour was her first live performance since revealing she suffered from stiff person syndrome.

Celine Dion said she was “delighted” after her impressive comeback at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

Dion made his first appearance since revealing he suffered from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

The 56-year-old singer sang from the first stage of the Eiffel Tower as an estimated one billion people watched the Olympics opening ceremony on television.

Dion has not performed since 2021, when she canceled her Las Vegas residency due to health concerns, before revealing her PSS diagnosis in December 2022 and canceling her world tour.

Last month, Dion revealed she once took a life-threatening dose of diazepam to help relieve seizures so she could go on stage.

PSS is a rare disease that causes progressive muscle stiffness.

The singer said it can trigger spasms so strong they can break ribs and feel like a stranglehold in the throat.
